What did you think of the last 2 episodes and the ending to 24 as a tv series? (Remembering that there is talk of the feature length film)

I thought the episodes would have been good with a bit more action, but that would have been hard, as they were just as they had to be.

For example, Jack could have fought his way out of the ending situation where he was about to be executed, but the way they did do it tied up all the loose ends. Hopefully they will put the alternative endings they filmed on the dvd box set

I thought the president and treaty signing part of the storyline was concluded well.

I can also see a good set up for the film here, Jack on the run from the Russians (and americans). Jack's family possibly being targeted, which would bring chloe back in as she has sworn to protect them...

We'll see, but what did you think of the ending to season 8?

Yeah I agree, the tied things up well and leaving the opening to the movie!

Glad that Taylor came around.....glad that Logan decorated the ceiling with the contents of the head, glad Jack survived...all good for me!

Maybe less action than I might have expected, but I think that was more than made up for with the tension levels - I was creeping closer & closer to the TV!

Jack gnawing on on Pillers' ear was genius, lol!

Smug grin being finally, once & for all wiped off Logans face, how satisfying to know his last concious thoughts were how he'd been totally undone by Jack - again!

Chloe was ace, as ever! Loved the last scene with Jacks phone call to her. Very fitting, she deserved it. I was sobbing with her.

Glad that President Taylor finally came to her senses.

Loved the "Events Occur In Real Time" coming back.

Loved the 321 countdown at the end.

As you've both said, it's set up nicely for a film but I'm glad they managed to leave it open without ruining the ending (like they did with the last ep of season 7!!).

Couldn't shake the feeling that they were going to throw in a shocker & kill him off though, right up to the end!

Sooooo relieved.

So all-in-all I really enjoyed the big finale, but I didn't know what to do with myself for a good hour or so afterwards knowing that it's all over.
